A note from Ms. Pumuula Good afternoon! Driscoll MS made history in the orchestra realm. We are the first group to go to the Orchestra UIL Concert and Sight-reading contest at least since 2007 (and even then, Driscoll combined with Miller Metro). The students did amazing! A HUGE shout-out to Mr. Collins for riding the bus with us, and Mr. Jones and Ms. Gonzalez for coming out to Veterans Memorial High School to support us and watch our performance. I couldn't have done it without y'all's support. ❤️ Attached are pictures of us warming up on stage in the cafeteria before we left, in the warmup room, on stage, and all together in the front of Veterans. We received a division 2 in the concert and a division 3 in the sightreading contest. I am very proud of these kiddos!!!
A note from Mr. Camacho: Thanks to everybody that came to help us Celebrate World Down Syndrome Awareness Day! Specifically, the PTA for helping to provide items for our kiddos and our Librarian for always doing something special for our kiddos. We truly appreciate you both.
